The Oyster Farmers Daughter Oyster Bar
North Narooma NSW
A brand with a story to tell
Creating the brand identity for The Oyster Farmers Daughter was about capturing the personality of a truly special family business. From its fourth generation oyster farming roots to the colourful, relaxed world Natasha has created on the shores of Wagonga Inlet, every detail feels personal, considered and full of character. The brand needed to reflect more than just oysters and seafood. It needed to capture the food, cocktails, waterfront setting and laid back atmosphere that make this boutique family run destination such a special place to visit.
From the oyster farm to the table
The identity was brought to life across every part of the business, from logo and web design to social media, menus, gift certificates, business cards, postcards, apparel, jar stickers, ink stamps and signage. Each element was designed to feel connected, creating a distinctive visual language that works across the oyster bar, merchandise and digital space.
Hand drawn signature octopus
A big part of the project was creating custom hand drawn artwork that could bring the brand to life across merchandise. I hand drew the signature octopus before digitally redrawing and refining it on my Wacom tablet, creating artwork that could be reproduced beautifully for screen printing. The finished illustration now features across T-shirts, hoodies, stickers, website and signage, giving the brand a playful and recognisable visual element that can't be produced through Ai.
